Traditional British flapjack

 Flapjacks are cereal bars of English origin. They should not be confused with American flapjacks, because American flapjacks are actually a type of thick crepe or pancakes (the recipe is promised). This recipe is from traditional flapjack with oatmeal, but can be made with other nuts, raisins, dried apricots… Ideal for breakfast, snack or children's break. They provide fiber, energy, vitamins and are 100% natural.

Ingredients
 (for 10 bars)
===============
100 g butter or margarine, 75 g brown sugar, 2 tablespoons honey, 250 g rolled oats.

Preparation
================
 Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Melt the butter with the sugar and honey in a saucepan. Remove the pot from the heat, add the rolled oats and mix well with a spatula or wooden spoon. Pour the mixture into a 23 cm greased mold greased with butter (rectangular suits us). Flatten the dough with the back of a spoon and bake for 12 minutes until the surface is slightly golden. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and simmer. We immediately cut into rectangles. They hold well in a metal can.
